Late 1800s. Unusual 22" size with good teeth and recently sharpened and set. Stamped with a "9" on the blade in reference to its TPI. Handle fitted for right-handed use. Handle stamped PAT JULY 17 1883 which is F. A. Buell's handle patent and which was specifically assigned to Peace. Also the brass support under the handle is stamped PAT JULY 3 1883. Great button and handle overall is excellent with some original finishes (noting a chip out at the top of the horn). The blade has fine pitting and the etch is present but faint and identifiable — a better image of which can be seen here and reads as follows:

There are many patents associated with this saw:
The medallion reads "HARVEY W. PEACE PAT. DEC. 27, 1887 BROOKLYN N. Y." which is in reference to Charles Glover saw screw patent.
The brass base beneath the handle reads "PAT. JULY 3 1883" which refers to this reinforcing saw plate patent.
The applewood handle itself is stamped "PAT. JULY 27 1883" which was a patent for a more ergonomic saw handle grip.
Thanks to Hyperkitten's work on Harvey Peace's saws and on the P68 specifically and to Directory of American Tool and Machinery Patents through which I was able to provide the relevant patent information.
