STUNNING 18TH C. YELLOW BIRCH TONGUE PLANE WITH RAM'S HORN NUTS

Absolutely beautiful plane with the whole "it" factor. Certainly American. This may be the most beautiful handle I have ever seen on a plane. The iron arms extend through the fence and are peened over to secure. Then they run through the plane body and are fastened with wonderful ram's horn nuts. Both the fence and entire plane sole are fitted with iron for wear. Layout lines on both sides. 12" long. Top shelf.
