UNCOMMON NORRIS NO 5 NON ADJUSTABLE SMOOTHING PLANE

Measures 9 1/2" in total length. Sole measures 7 3/4" long. Width of the iron is 2" and is a Rob't Sorby. 'NORRIS LONDON' is stamped on the bronze screw cap. Good overall condition. Good mouth. Does not appear to be dovetailed. I believe it is a No 5 or possibly No 2. Both were (rarely) made without adjusters.
