CA 1830 E SMITH 28" JOINTER PLANE - ONE STAR 'C' STAMP IN AWP 3

Likely ca 1830. E Smith was a planemaker in Rehobeth Mass. The signed big early jointers didn't generally survive. Has an iron diamond both in the top of the handle and the toe end of the plane. 100% as found and overall excellent for its age.
