CA 1840 - RARE & FINE S A JONES HARTFORD ROSEWOOD SLIDING BEVEL GAUGE

Beautiful condition as found with a deep clear stamp. Will glow with a light cleaning. 15 1/4" long when closed up. Solomon A Jones' documented working dates are 1838-1841 making this almost 200 years old!
