WOW! CARVED JACK PLANE - 1849 - NOVA SCOTIA

Spectacular and meticulously crafted lettering and numbering carved into the side of the plane. Mr Langille evidently ran out of room which necessitated him putting the 'E' on the front which gives it so much more character. Found in Nova Scotia where there are several pockets of Langilles. Red paint carefully brushed into each letter and number. Top shelf.
