I rehung it on the original handle with a new walnut wedge and glued a tight crack in the handle for reinforcement. Solid, great looking axe. 27 3/4" in total length. Marked 'W. C. KELLY PERFECT CHARLESTON W VA U.S.A. REG US PAT. OFF' and 'TRUE TEMPER' on the axe head.
