VERY RARE RITCHIE PATENT COMBINATION SQUARE, RULE, LEVEL & BEVEL

1884 patent by Frederick Ritchie from northern Maine on the Canadian border with New Brunswick (where I found it). True german silver and mahogany with fabulous sliding vial covers. It must have been very expensive to manufacture. This was in quite rough condition when I bought it and I did a fairly extensive restoration on it including two new level vials, several replacement screws, and a new proper german silver locking screw perfectly made by a machinist friend. Rare!
