Stamped " PAT MAR 5 '79" and "E. C. STEARNS & CO. SYRACUSE N.Y. PATENTED JUNE 5 1900". Remarkable condition and never cleaned. Shiny nickel trim on depth stop, nuts and screws. 90% bright red paint and japanning. Barely noticeable crack on the outer adjustment gear. Location of it will not affect use.
