EARLY UNCOMMON TYPE 5 STANLEY NO. 4 SMOOTH PLANE

Hard to find type 5 with the bent lateral adjuster. Original rosewood. Great japanning but the exposed metal surfaces all have fine pitting on them with a deeper pitted section on the sole. Not the best example! Will still make a good user or collector....
