MINT STANLEY NO. 196 CURVED RABBET PLANE

This is a very difficult plane to find much less in this condition! Nickel is 99%+ and shiny and the plane is very very clean as found. Will glow even more with a gentle polish. The initials EEM are very lightly stamped on one side as shown in the last photo. EEM was a very old friend of mine and one of the first 'old time' collectors I met almost 40 years ago when I was a novice! He was also a woodworking teacher.
