RARE & FINE M D CONVERSE PATENT PLUMB BOB WITH ORIGINAL CASE

PATENT APR 25 '05  787,896 stamped in extremely small type on the top of the bob. Patented by Maschil D. Converse of Newark NJ and produced by Tower and Lyon. First I have owned. Fine tip and top. Beautiful condition with much original lacquer present. Some light marring around the outer 'ring'.
