VERY VERY FINE NORRIS NO. 31 LOW ANGLE THUMB PLANE

Beautiful smooth bronze body with steel sole. The bronze has a lovely warm gold and reddish sheen. The lever cap and rosewood infill are also very fine and both are stamped 31 (under the iron on the infill). The iron is stamped NORRIS LONDON. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better example of this very rare Norris plane. Better in person than in photographs.
