UNIQUE SCREW ARM CENTER BEAD PLANE WITH STEEL SOLE

I've never seen a plane in this configuration before. The sole is made of up of two steel plates 1 1/8" x 5/16" shaped into a center bead profile. The total length of the plane is 9 3/4". It appears that the center screw lock is a tensioner. Fabulous.
