STUNNING NORRIS DOVETAILED NO 3 SMOOTH PLANE STAMPED 'STEEL' - PRE-WAR

The No 3 is a very uncommon Norris. This one has figured two tone rosewood infill. Gorgeous cap and locking screw. An early example with the long neck brass lever cap & fancy finial screw. Great condition. Handle appears to have an imperceptible hairline crack or glue repair near the base. A few touches of pitting but very clean otherwise.
