FINE EARLY ROSEWOOD BEVEL SQUARE WITH KNURLED NUT - NEW YORK CITY MAKER

11" long closed. Beautiful condition with original blueing on the blade. I conferred with Eric Benson on this one as it is unmarked but has very distinctive features. He is very confident it is from a pre 1850 NYC maker but is unable to determine who made it. Eric's research on square and bevel makers is second to none and can be found here.
