RARE EARLY LL DAVIS NO. 15 BRASS & MAHOGANY 12" LEVEL - 1867 PATENT

12" long by 1 3/8" wide. Uncleaned as found. Very nice condition for its age. Level bubble intact. Stamped 'MANUFACTURED BY L.L DAVIS SPRINGFIELD MASS PAT. MARCH. 17. 1867' on the brass plate and '15' on one end of the wood body. Wood bodied Davis levels are much less common than the cast iron levels/inclinometers.
