9 5/8" long. Inked stamp on the toe reads, 'BREVETTO IN ITALIA No. 326-139' while the one by the mouth is WEISS' maker's stamp. The original iron also bears the Weiss stamp with a clamp logo and measures 1 5/16" wide. Johann Weiss was one of the earliest Austrian plane makers.
