FINE PATENTED 1938 COMPTON "U-SET" TAILOR SCISSORS

Heavy construction and measure 11 1/4" long with a 5 1/4" cutting edge. Fine condition. 

Stamped '-COMPTON U SET-' on the blades. The brass adjustment screw reads 'U-SET PATENTED' & 'COMPTON NEWWARK, N.J. U.S.A' on the reverse. Beneath on the joint area reads, 'U-SET PAT'D 1938' and 'RELIANCE COMPTON NEWARK, N.J. U.S.A.'
