R O MARSDEN CHICAGO stamped on the iron. A possible Chicago infill plane maker like the Poppings, Erlandsens etc. This was just found 'in the wild' in Chicago with the J POPPING plane I also have listed. Excellent overall condition and with a nice brass strike button on the heel.
