VERY FINE EBONY HANDLED ROUSSEL CURVED KNIFE

This is a beautifully made bevelled double-edged knife. Total length 7 1/2" and maximum width of the blade is 7/8". It appears to be of early manufacture although what its exact purpose is I am not sure. Possible 19th century.
