EARLY TYPE 6 STANLEY NO 4 SMOOTHING PLANE

Early early Stanley with a gorgeous rosewood tote and beaded front knob. Has some type 5 features but not the type 5 lateral so I would say first model type 6. Iron is short and has the beehive logo. There is a 3/4" tight hairline crack on one cheek. Otherwise excellent condition.
