FABULOUS EARLY PRIMITIVE TAPERED BOARD MEASURE

My favourite 'in the wild' find over the past number of months. Great early measuring stick with hand carved numbers, lines and initials. Love the number font. Very shapely tapering the full length to the apex and tapers away at the 'handle' end. Exceptional piece and the pictures don't do it justice. 31" in total length. Has a partial crack at the 16" mark but only 1/4" in depth so still tight.
