EXCELLENT EARLY G. THOMAS 'LONDON' SPLIT NUT DOVETAIL SAW

Very straight and will make an excellent small user saw for dovetail and tenon work. 7 7/8" cutting edge and only 13" in overall length with mahogany saw guard. Remarkably, Thomas is not referenced in 'British Sawmakers' by Simon Barley. Appears to be mid 1800s. Very early mahogany saw guard. Tote tip looks chipped, bottom horn fine. Collector, user or both!
