EXTREMELY RARE RABONE ARMSTRONG SCALE CUSTOM ADVERTISING RULE - 6"

Stamped 'J. RABONE & SONS BIRMINGHAM' and made for 'THE WESTERN TRADING CO. (GLOUCESTER) LTD.' who, in part, manufactured laboratory equipment among other supplies.

Unnumbered rule I haven't seen in any catalogue of theirs; I'm not aware that Rabone ever offered this type of rule to the wider public. This was likely custom made by J. Rabone & Sons in limited numbers for The Western Trading Co. as promotional pieces.

Fine overall condition noting some staining and a nick off the edge of a corner. Gradations are remarkably crisp and clear.
