1870 DISSTON & SON CONICAL NUT NO 12 REFINED LONDON SPRING SAW - BOSTON

100% as found in an old working shop. Early and excellent, specifically made 1865-1871 only. One slotted backside nut appears slightly different than the others. Good handle noting abrasion and chipping on top tip. I haven't cleaned anything so the handle wood, nuts and plate could be cleaned up to look beautiful. Great etching INCLUDING a BOSTON merchant name and address. Reads 'EXTRA HENRY DISSTON & SON KEYSTONE SAW WORKS PHILADELPHIA LONDON SPRING 12 WARRANTED REFINED' and 'MADE FOR BERNEY & BURRILL BOSTON CORNER BEVERLY & TRAVERS ST'. Awesome to have this additional etch.
