LUFKIN NO. 771 EM ‘LONDON’ METRIC FOLD RULE – 60CM 4 FOLD

Not your everyday EM rule from the likes of Lufkin! A "comparison" or "commerce" rule made for the English market that provides measurement in both inches and cm. 

Sound LUFKIN logo stamped along with NO. 771EM, WARRANTED BOXWOOD, and LONDON on the outside which features imperial gradations up to 8ths, 10ths and 12ths of an inch. The interior is stamped METRIC and reads in cm while providing marks for half and 10ths of a centimetre. All alignment pins intact. Fine overall condition noting a skew in the outermost boxwood when opened (see last photo.) Could shine with a light cleaning.

A ruler I liked keeping around whenever I needed to provide inches and cm for other products!
