FABULOUS EARLY AMERICAN PRESS ASSOCIATION PROMOTIONAL BACKSAW

Very early style handle. Etching on the blade reads, 'MFD FOR AMERICAN PRESS ASSN NEW YORK 32 & 34 VESEY ST'. Total length is 15". Cutting edge measures 10". Wonderful piece but I don't know the history of its manufacture.
