VERY FINE CA 1880 SPEAR & JACKSON NO. 26 BRASS BACK DOVETAIL SAW - 8" 16 TPI

Straight and sharp with set. Fabulous small saw for dovetail and joinery work. Stamped "SPEAR & JACKSON S J WARRANTED SHEFFIELD CAST STEEL" and "No 26" on the brass back. Circa 1880 based on information in British Saws & Saw Makers from c1660 by Simon Barley.
