VERY EARLY MITCHELL & CO SPLIT NUT DOVETAIL SAW - CA 1830

Dated ca 1830 according to Simon Barley's outstanding book on British Sawmakers. Remarkable condition for a 200 year old saw. Some oxidization on the plate. Very fine handle noting a chip off one side of the top tip being the only detraction.
