DAVIS 1867 PAT. ADJUSTABLE MANTLE CLOCK INCLINOMETER

Early version stamped  LL DAVIS ADJUSTABLE SPIRIT LEVEL PAT. SEPT. 17 1867'. 90% plus japanning plus gold trim and decorative highlights. Very clean brass face, pointer and screws. The level base has a repaired crack and there is a small rough area in the main casting at around "11 o'clock". Nonetheless a great looking example.
