EXTRA FINE & EARLY UNMARKED STANLEY NO. 90 BRASS & IVORY RULE - 1FT 4 FOLD

This rule has stayed remarkably clean with crisp corners and brass trim.  Clear pentagonal pin in the main joint was used by both Stanley and Lufkin; however, Lufkin never used ivory in their rules and followed a different numbering scheme making this almost certainly a Stanley rule made for wholesale purposes. As per Walter's Stanley guide, this was offered with the option for brass prior to 1860 only making this very likely an unmarked type 1 or 2. Top shelf.
