Fabulous grain and a very difficult level to find. 1862,1872 patent dates on the plate. All original including all the steel screws. Both vials intact. The usual toolbox wear throughout. Great brass and especially clean on top. I have heard anecdotally that Stanley used their finest and densest rosewood on these number 11s. This is heavy, weighing in at 4 pounds 6 ounces. Note, one brass end has several good dings in it.
