UNUSUAL PROFILE CA 1760 DARBEY MOULDING PLANE

Definitely one of the first two George Darbey stamps as per BPM 3, it looks most like the first with the thicker letters. Excellent condition with high rounded wedge (which although oak appears original and has the same patina as the plane body). I found this last week in the 'wild'. Unusual shouldered deep hollow. 9 7/8" long.
