FINE JAPANESE WHITE OAK HOLLOW PLANE / KANNA

Measures 7 7/8" x 1 6/8" and its blade measures 1 1/4". This was brought over to Canada in the 1950s by a Japanese immigrant patternmaker. Early style noting that the blade is set without the use of a wedge. Very fine overall condition.
