Stunning condition. Includes the following sizes of Marples "Shamrock Brand" No. 377 Chisels with BOXWOOD handles:
- 1 1/4" or 32mm
- 1 1/2" or 38mm
- 1 3/4" of 44mm (discontinued size last featured in their 1965 catalogue, virtually impossible to find)
- 2" or 51mm (largest size manufactured and very difficult to find these days)
Most sets of these chisels only go up to 1" wide. Decals date this set from 1960s to early 1970s. These are outstanding, razor sharp, and ready to go. A rare opportunity.
These match up with the set of 5 (1/2"-1") I also have for sale and were found together. The set of 5 have smaller handle sizes which is why I have them separated. I have 6 or 8 sets of extra fine and razor sharp Marples chisels I will be listing over the next week or so. All are from the same immaculate workshop and all are matched sets dating from about 1960-1970. Shamrock brand with boxwood handles.
