Absolutely stunning plow. Clearly stamped on the front 'PATENT W. PRESTON FENTONVILLE LONDON MAKER'. The boxwood screw arms are in superb condition noting only 1-2 very minor thread chips. Has a beautiful brass escutcheon inlaid behind the iron and another inlaid arch on the side. The plane body and fence are beech with a dovetailed full boxwood wear surface on the fence.
I've been unable to find any information on this plough plane on the internet which suggests its an extremely rare patent. I would appreciate if anyone has any information on this.
