LOVELY BIRMINGHAM PLANE CO. NO 4 SIZE SMOOTH PLANE

Truly a unique and exceptional all cast iron design from ca 1885. Excellent all original condition with 95% plus japanning and no damage to the main casting. Sole is excellent. Just 2 rungs on the adjustment 'rack' are nipped and the back of the blade support has a chip missing where the adjusting pin comes through. Better than most of these.
