SUPERB H SLATER 1 7/16" SHOULDER RABBET PLANE - RARE FORM AND SIZE

Magnificent plane in superb condition with a very rare form raised nib in the infill. Also the 1 7/16" size is one I have never come across before. Looks to have been very little used. Fine mouth. Quite possibly a special order plane. Rosewood or dark dark mahogany. Flawless but for the peening on the rear steel button used to loosen the iron (but that is why it is there!).
