FINE 18TH CENTURY J. CORDY. NO. 5 ROUND PLANE

Definitely appears to be a ca 1775 manufactured plane. J. Cordy doesn't appear in AWP2 or BPM3 so I don't know whether or not he's a documented maker. Early and excellent. Note the stamp reads 'J. CORDY.' (with the period behind Cordy).
