RARE J. DAWSON MONTREAL 'MOTHER' MOLDING PLANE

This plane is very likely a Dawson 'Mother' plane. Mother planes were used to create the finished molding planes that the manufacturers produced and this plane would have made a side bead profile. It is very unusual as well in that it is a handled example. An important Canadian plane.
