RARE HOLZAPFFEL BRONZE CHARIOT PLANE WITH EBONY WEDGE

Very fine wedge which has a delicate cupid's bow on its leading edge. The iron is chamfered at the top and unmarked. There is a lower front nose piece that is attached by two screws and appears to be adjustable. Identical to a Holzapffel London plane I have seen. The length sole measures 3 3/8" Fine overall condition.
