SPECTACULAR 18th CENTURY YELLOW BIRCH CROWN MOLDING PLANE

A true piece of Americana. Measures 14" x 4 5/8" with a full 4" iron. Fantastic original layout lines on the sides, top, front and back are still visible. Iron strike button. Deep wide chamfers. Rear tote is pinned through the plane side with a wood peg. Unmarked original round top iron and proper replaced wedge. Great stylistic far offset tote. Circa 1730-1780.
