CA 1780 FINE DEEP B. DYSON COMPLEX MOLDING PLANE

Deep profile and very deep clear stamp. This is Dyson's earliest production and first stamp. Wide, flat chamfers and rounded wedge profile typical of the latter half of the 18th century. Superb condition noting a few old 'fence' holes, a nick in the boxing, and the wedge was very lightly sanded on one side (it was too tight but perfect fit now) by the previous owner who used this plane until recently.
