First gauge I have seen with this screw adjust rack system for moving the head. Spins perfectly. The mortise width adjusts with a screw on the bottom of the stem. Ebony is excellent. Stamped THOS TURNER & CO on stem and head. As found and will absolutely pop with a cleaning and a wax polish. Some light scratching on the brass could be buffed out or left.
