RARE UNMARKED DOUBLE CLAW NAIL STARTING HAMMER

Unusual design I haven't come across before. It seems to draw inspiration from a variety of hammer patents (e.g. W. F. Charley's front-facing double claw hammer patent and G. Young's spring-loaded nail starting hammer which was not known to be produced come to mind). I am unable to find the maker, manufacturer or if any patent was associated with this design.

13 1/2" in total length. The head is 4 3/4" long and its face measures 1 1/16" in diameter. No springs or bearings used. Excellent overall condition. uncleaned as found.

Previously owned by a collector who diligently took notes on each item they came across. Their notes reflected the same absence of information on this hammer. Feel free to contact if you have any info.
