Simply the finest hammer I have ever owned. Superbly detailed. The octagonal poll end has a round concave shank and the round convex head has a concave octagonal shank (both shouldered before the heads). Many other decorative elements. Exceptional in every respect including the detailing around the eye. G.H. was a master craftsman.
