RARE NOBLES 10" HAND BRACE - 1865 PATENT

Patented December 19th, 1865. This particular patent has a sliding ring locking mechanism for the chuck. Brace has an iron frame stamped 'NOBLES MFG CO'. Beautiful lignum vitae head and bronze ferrule. Minor chipping on the underside of the head. Copy of the patent papers included.
