BEAUTY COLVER BROS. BRASS BACK SPLIT NUT DOVETAIL SAW - 9"

Excellent condition noting it is quite sharp and workable as is. 13 1/2" in total length with a 9" cutting edge. Stamps on the brass reads 'COLVER BROS LTD SHEFFIELD', 'G B PILOT WORKS' with two crossed flags, and 'SILVER STEEL ELASTIC SPRING TEMPER WARRANTED'. A beauty from ca 1900 as per Simon Barley's excellent treatise on British sawmakers.
