FINE CHAS. CHAMBERS BRASS BACK SPLIT NUT SAW - DOUBLE CROWNS

Undocumented maker from Sheffield not listed in Simon Barley's great book on British saw makers. Beautiful early saw with a tapered blade perfect for cutting dovetails or fine tenons. Cutting edge is dead straight and 10" long. Split nuts are untouched. Handle is perfect with just one sliver of the bottom edge. Great medallion and name stamp. Some pitting on the blade will not affect use. A beauty.
